I'm currently working with a global leader in forensic investigation and disclosure to find an experienced Digital Forensic Consultant to join their growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in complex investigative work and is looking to take full ownership of high‐stakes digital forensic cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead forensic investigations independently, ensuring best practices in evidence handling and analysis.
  • Perform digital collections both remotely and onsite, using industry‐standard tools.
  • Analyse data from a wide range of digital sources (mobile, desktop, laptop, servers).
  • Prepare thorough, well‐structured forensic reports that are accessible for legal and non‐technical audiences.
  • Present findings to clients and help translate technical conclusions into business‐relevant language.
  • Attend client sites for collections when needed – frequency may vary.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience running digital forensic investigations from start to finish.
  • Proficiency with key forensic tools (e.g., Cellebrite, EnCase, FTK, X‐Ways, Magnet AXIOM).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux systems from a forensic perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when engaging with non‐technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast‐paced, high‐pressure environments.
  • Must be based within a 1.5‐hour commute of central London and open to occasional onsite travel.
