I’m currently working with a global leader in forensic investigation and disclosure to find an experienced Digital Forensic Consultant to join their growing team in London.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities of a Digital Forensic Consultant

  • Lead forensic investigations independently, ensuring best practices in evidence handling and analysis.
  • Perform digital collections both remotely and onsite, using industry-standard tools.
  • Analyse data from a wide range of digital sources (mobile, desktop, laptop, servers).
  • Prepare thorough, well‑structured forensic reports that are good for legal and non‑technical audiences.
  • Present findings to clients and help translate technical conclusions into business‑relevant language.
  • Attend client sites for collections when needed – frequency may vary (e. g., none for two weeks, then three in one week).

Key Requirements of a Digital Forensic Consultant

  • Demonstrated experience running digital forensic investigations from start to finish.
  • Proficiency with key forensic tools (e. g., Cellebrite, En Case, FTK, X-Ways, Magnet AXIOM).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux systems from a forensic perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when engaging with non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
  • Must be based within a 1.5‑hour commute of central London and open to occasional onsite travel.
