They are now seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead their mechanical assembly and fitting operation in Burntwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader to take ownership of workshop performance, quality standards and team development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supervising a workshop team of 5 staff
  • Coordinating daily workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Liaising with the sales team to ensure smooth order processing
  • Managing aftersales and ensuring returns are handled efficiently
  • Maintaining quality standards and ensuring adherence to procedures, including documentation of issues
  • Ensuring workshop equipment is inspected and maintained in line with schedules
  • Overseeing health & safety compliance and promoting safe working practices
  • Coaching, developing and supporting workshop staff
  • Driving continuous improvement across processes and performance

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical fitting or workshop environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Desirable

  • Counterbalance or pivot steer FLT licence
  • NEBOSH qualification (or working towards)
