Stamford Social is looking for a capable and service-focused Supervisor to help lead front of house operations on shift. This role is important in ensuring service runs smoothly, the team stays organised, and guests receive a polished yet relaxed hospitality experience. You will support the management team by overseeing section readiness, team coordination, guest interaction, and service execution across the restaurant. This role suits someone with good floor awareness, a hands‑on attitude, and the confidence to guide others during service.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality environment, ideally with some leadership exposure
- Good understanding of service sequence, floor organisation, and guest care
- Able to guide junior team members and maintain standards on shift
- Strong communication skills and calm approach under pressure
- Hands-on attitude with willingness to support wherever needed
- Able to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise front of house operations during service
- Ensure sections are ready, organised, and properly staffed before and during service
- Coordinate team workflow and communicate priorities during busy periods
- Maintain service standards, attention to detail, and positive guest interaction
- Provide on-shift support, guidance, and basic coaching to team members
- Escalate important issues, guest feedback, or operational concerns to management
- Step in on the floor whenever required to support smooth and efficient operations
