A 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant is needed in Wellingborough to support a Primary-aged pupil with Autism who is non-verbal. This is a full-time role in a welcoming, supportive Primary school, starting in September.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide:

  • Consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ASC
  • Communication support for a non-verbal child (PECS, visuals, gestures)
  • Calm, patient and nurturing behaviour support
  • Sensory regulation and structured routines
  • Close collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Full-time support across the school day
