APT Education is looking for experienced, compassionate 1:1 SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across Primary schools in Milton Keynes from September. If you have proven experience supporting children or adults with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, behavioural needs or non-verbal communication, we want to hear from you.

You will be providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Behavioural and SEMH needs
- Non-verbal communication support
- Sensory and routine-based support
Your role will involve building trust, creating structure, and helping pupils access learning in a calm, nurturing and consistent way.
Requirements- Proven experience supporting SEN pupils or adults
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, SEMH or non-verbal needs
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
