Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the commercial management of fit‑out and refurbishment projects from tender stage through to final account
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and tender submissions
  • Measure works from drawings and site information
  • Procure subcontractors, materials and supplier packages
  • Review quotations and negotiate best value solutions
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and applications for payment
  • Manage variations, change control and cost reporting
  • Prepare subcontract payment notices and final accounts
  • Monitor project costs, cash flow and profitability
  • Attend site visits, progress meetings and client meetings where required
  • Work closely with project managers, design teams and directors to support successful project delivery
  • Ensure commercial processes are followed in line with company procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role or similar commercial position within construction, fit‑out or interiors
  • Strong numerical, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

  • Degree / HNC / HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline
