Alex Coppen is working on an exclusive, retained search for an growing biotechnology company in the neuroscience field. They have a fantastic team, a highly experienced Board, renowned biotech investors and an innovative approach to treating patients with neurodegenerative disease.

As they head towards CTA filing to enter the clinic, they are searching for an experienced Development Project Leader to take point on the companies lead programme from candidate selection, through regulatory submission and in to clinical trials. This is a cross-functional role working with teams in preclinical, CMC, clinical operations, regulatory etc. working closely with KOLs and stakeholders, and bringing a strategic mindset to ensure the successful transition in to the clinic.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of project leadership experience within biotech (clinical operations, preclinical translation, CMC and regulatory)
• Must have project leadership experience taking drug products from candidate selection, through to clinical trials (CTA/IND)
• Must have strong expertise in neurodegenerative disease (ALS, Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease etc.)
• Ideally educated to degree level in medicine or to postgraduate level in a biological science
