We’re looking enthusiastic Associate Recruitment Consultants to join our lively HQ office in Redhill, Surrey. If you’re interested in getting into sales/recruitment, eager to learn, and have the drive to succeed, then we want to hear from you!
You will work closely with Apsida’s leadership team to match candidates to specific job requirements, whilst given the opportunity to develop into a full-fledged Recruitment Consultant working with your own pool of clients & customers. Working closely with Ethan Cortese, you will learn the fundamental skills and knowledge of a recruitment consultant, which in-turn will give you the perfect introduction into life science recruitment. This is an entry level position; no degree or direct sales/recruitment experience is required. What is important to us? Passion to learn!
Key Responsibilities:- Use job boards, social media (like LinkedIn), company databases, and networking to find potential candidates.
- Create and post job advertisements to attract applicants.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Contact candidates for preliminary phone or video interviews to assess their skills, experience, and suitability for open roles.
- Prepare candidates for interviews with clients by providing tips and information about the company.
- Assist in understanding clients’ hiring needs by gathering information about job roles and company culture.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update them on the progress of recruitment.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates and job postings in the recruitment database.
- Handle paperwork and coordinate schedules for interviews between clients and candidates.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitors to advise clients and candidates.
- Often shadow senior consultants to learn best practices and gain industry knowledge.
- Attend training sessions to improve skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Business Development: Proactively reach out to potential clients to secure new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and networking.
- Understanding Client Needs: Meet with clients to understand their hiring requirements, company culture, and long-term staffing plans.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
