About the Role
We are actively recruiting a Depot Manager to work within a busy depot environment. The role involves managing the depot, its facilities, people, customers and profit, and overseeing health, safety, environment, service, after‑sales, rental, administration, reporting, compliance and budgets.
Qualities and Experience Required
- Background in materials handling or a similar engineering field.
- Minimum of service manager experience, preferably senior management experience.
- Experience managing a remote workforce.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and organise teams and promote communication and performance.
- Commercial outlook and mindset focused on profitable growth of the depot and wider company/group.
- Planning and forecasting skills across financial, workforce, after‑sales and service aspects.
- Commitment to maintaining high levels of health and safety.
