The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The ideal candidate would be based in the local area and should have a sound knowledge of the industry. They should also have the desire to develop and support existing business along with a major focus in generating new business. A knowledge of the customer base, in particular the area would be an advantage but not essential. We would provide ongoing training to further the successful candidate's development. We see this as an exciting opportunity which would involve hybrid working between office and customer visits.
Responsibilities of the role would include:
- Being highly motivated with demonstrable success in sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Being able to travel to visit customers and the depot as required.
- Great IT skills and ability to communicate effectively using digital formats.
- Market awareness to understand pricing strategy and margins.
- Supporting the Timber Manager in day-to-day trading activities.
- Proactively sourcing new business and working as part of a team to achieve goals.
