Our client, a global leader in vehicle safety systems, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team. Based at their Dartford site, this role will support the delivery of new product development and other key business projects. You\’ll work within a dynamic environment, driving project success through planning, coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support projects through the full lifecycle, particularly in New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project KPIs and reporting dashboards.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the business and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company professionally at events such as exhibitions and workshops.
About You
- 1-2 years of experience as a Project Manager within an engineering, electronics, or automotive environment.
- Solid understanding of project delivery and life cycle management.
- Confident managing or supporting multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Flexible and willing to travel when needed.
Qualifications
- HNC, BTEC, City & Guilds in electronics (Degree desirable).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Formal project management qualification or proven hands-on experience.
