Are you a highly skilled and motivated multi-skilled Production Maintenance Engineer? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We are looking for a proactive problem solver with a passion for keeping equipment running smoothly and enhancing productivity. You’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and ensuring the longevity of our equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid technical assistance to resolve equipment and plant malfunctions.
- Perform fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes.
- Develop and implement planned maintenance for jigs, fixtures, plant, and equipment.
- Manage stock of supplies and equipment to avoid repair delays.
- Identify and source components for the assembly of production units.
- Ensure production processes are followed when implementing changes.
Requirements
- HNC/ONC/City & Guilds/NVQ4 or a time-served apprenticeship, or a Relevant qualification in Engineering/Electronics.
- Fault finding and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing practices.
- Proven ability to train and lead a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK Driving License.
