We are working with a reputable company based in Chelmsford (CM3) who require a professional Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Worker. The position is a permanent role paying up to £17.00 per hour + Benefits (DOE).
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 1.00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brakes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Carry out quality checks on finished components.
- Assist with laser cutting, grinding, assembly, and general fabrication duties as required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in press brake operation, sheet metal work, or a similar engineering role preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic measurements.
- Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
