We are working with a reputable client based in Leeds (LS28) who require a HSQE Manager to join their team. The position is a permanent role paying 42,000 - 58,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Car.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a HSQE Manager within rail, infrastructure or civil engineering. This is an office-based role with site visits occasionally required.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead HSQE on projects within the North East
- Maintain, and audit the company's management system (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001)
- Provide guidance and support to members of staff across multiple sites
- Support development and review risk assessments and method statements
- Plan and conduct site inspections
- Manage accident, incident and other relevant investigations
- Lead engagement in HSQE briefings across teams, safety campaigns and toolbox talks
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a HSQE Manager
- Must be NEBOSH certified (or equivalent)
- IOSH membership
- Private medical insurance
- Pension
