We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Shutter Door Installer to join a highly reputable client based in Ampthill (MK45). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a specialist installation role, with full training and support provided.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Contracted hours: 42.5 hours per week
- Company Benefits include Private Healthcare
- Working hours can vary and may include unsociable hours and different shift patterns
- Flexibility is required to work outside standard hours when needed
- In practice, you may work approximately 30 hours across 3β4 days, while still receiving payment for the full contracted 42.5 hours
Key Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (preferably with no points)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to complete clear written notes and documentation
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel to different sites
Role Responsibilities:
- Travelling to customer sites to assist with the fitting and installation of shutter doors
- Working as part of an installation team while developing technical skills
