Responsibilities
- Work on SCADA systems design and integration for flagship projects, including design of remote terminal units (RTUs) for the field/front end.
- SCADA design, HMI design, configuring and building function blocks for RTUs, and PLC programming with Mitsubishi PLCs.
Essential Requirements
- SCADA design experience—pulling together I/O schedules, generating design reports and drawings, creating schematics and documentation, and writing or performing test specifications or physical testing.
- Understanding of SCADA/HMI systems (Codra Panorama or Mitsubishi Iconics) for front-end configuration and building function blocks for RTUs.
- Working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs (iQ-R, iQ-F/S, or Q Series) and their integration within SCADA systems.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working with RTUs in power or infrastructure environments, including exposure to systems such as Siemens, Telent, or ABB.
- Understanding of rail or traction power environments (e.g., Network Rail, Tyne & Wear Metro) and how end clients operate and manage control systems.
- Ability to develop and execute test strategies, including integration of RTUs and PLCs (e.g., Mitsubishi iQ-R).
- Creation of FAT/SAT documentation.
- Production of design and test documentation.
- Customer-facing experience.
