Info About What The Senior Manufacturing Engineer Role Entails
You’ll take full responsibility for the implementation and definition of processes to support strategic and operational goals of the company. You’ll have the management of a minimum of one Manufacturing Engineer.
Some Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of a Manufacturing Engineer, as a line manager
- Managing RCCA Activities, with a strong focus on scrap and rework reduction
- Address manufacturing process issues
- Improve manufacturing processes and equipment through development and implementation of new strategies
Requirements Of The Senior Manufacturing Engineer:
- Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role (Aerospace/Automotive preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of engineering drawings and lean manufacturing tools
- Engineering/manufacturing focused with a commercial awareness
Desirable Requirements:
- Management Experience
- CAD Experience (Solidworks ideally)
- 6 Sigma (or equivalent) qualified
