My Client are part of a Global Group of companies operating in the Audio sector containing some of the most prestigious brands in the business. They design and manufacture professional audio equipment that has been used on the sets of Oscar-winning Hollywood sets and are moving into the live sound market.

Fault-finding and repairing professional audio, video and wireless equipment down to component level.

  • Assembling, disassembling and testing electronic products.
  • Reworking PCBs containing both surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Preparing estimates and documenting work performed for our customers.
  • Repairing and maintaining test equipment.

Requirements:

  • Educated to minimum HNC level in electronics or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a related role.
  • Able to read and interpret complex schematics and data sheets.
  • Competent at soldering and reworking fine pitch SMT and through-hole components.
  • Proficient in use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, bench power supplies and stereo microscopes etc.
  • Knowledge of professional audio equipment, audio circuitry, RF and switching power supplies is desirable.
