We're working with a global industrial electronics manufacturer looking for a Production Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on position focused on resolving day-to-day production issues, maintaining manufacturing documentation and ensuring production teams have the equipment and processes needed to work effectively.

  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day production issues.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing.
  • Maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
  • Support engineering changes, production trials and validation activities.
  • Assemble or modify workstations, fixtures and production equipment.
  • Update technical files and manufacturing information.
  • Work closely with Production, Process Engineering and Quality teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and manufacturing projects. Essential Requirements of a Production Engineer:
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role.
  • Experience working within a product manufacturing environment.
  • A practical approach and confidence using basic hand tools.
  • Experience maintaining SOPs, work instructions or production documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy. Desirable Requirements of a Production Engineer
  • Electronics, electromechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing experience.
  • Experience within a fast-paced or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Engineering change, production trial or validation experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement knowledge.
  • Experience modifying production workstations, fixtures or equipment.
