Job Title: Quality Systems Consultant Rate: £35ph - £45ph Location: Farnborough Contract Length: 6-12 months An established engineering business is looking for an experienced Quality Systems Consultant to support the implementation of new standards across its business management system. You will work with stakeholders across engineering, quality and operations to understand the requirements of relevant standards, and translate them into practical processes, procedures and supporting documentation. The business needs someone who can quickly understand its existing systems, identify what needs to change and take ownership of a defined body of work without requiring heavy supervision. What you’ll be doing: * Supporting the rollout of new automotive standards. * Reviewing the existing management system. * Completing gap analysis and process improvements. * Creating and updating procedures and documentation. * Integrating new requirements into existing systems. * Supporting internal and external audits. * Coordinating actions across technical teams. What we’re looking for: * Automotive quality or management systems experience. * Knowledge of IATF 16949. * Exposure to ISO 21434, ISO 26262 or Automotive SPICE. * Process implementation and improvement experience. * ISO 9001 internal auditing experience. * Able to work independently and deliver at pace. * Strong documentation and stakeholder-management skills. This position requires regular on-site work in Surrey, with some flexibility depending on the project.
