Specialist designer and manufacturer of complex electromechanical safety-critical products for industrial & environmental applications.
As part of the Product Team, you will drive revenue and profit growth by managing the existing portfolio and delivering new, differentiated solutions that strengthen our competitive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimise the current product range to exceed margin, revenue and pricing targets.
- Define next-generation solutions through customer insight, market analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Gather and share market intelligence to inform strategy, business models and NPD/NPI activity.
- Lead successful product launches by defining requirements, progressing stage-gate projects, shaping value propositions, and ensuring strong go-to-market execution.
- Provide clear business-wide updates on product performance, plans and market trends.
- Track industry movements and translate trends into actionable product opportunities.
- Identify OEM, partnership, acquisition or collaboration options to expand the portfolio.
- Analyse competitors and develop compelling value propositions and pricing strategies.
- Support creation of sales tools and targeted marketing content to accelerate adoption.
- Stay current on market and competitor developments, feeding ideas into the product strategy.
Essential Requirements of the Product Manager
- A degree or relevant equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create plans and manage stakeholders.
- Ability to translate product direction into product development by creating detailed product specifications and business cases to support the overall roadmap.
Desirable Requirements of the Product Manager
- Strong understanding of instrumentation used in safety-critical, high-reliability environments.
- Proven experience shaping product strategy and performing Voice of Customer research.
