The client is a leading supplier of complex components and systems to some of the world’s largest Aerospace OEMs with specific expertise in heat treatment, welding, chemical processing, Laser and NDT. With a brand new facility including a fully automated chemical process line, we are seeking a specialist process engineer to join the team.

Info about what the Process Engineer – Chemical Process

Working in a team with x3 Quality Engineers, x2 First Article Inspectors, x1 Mechanical Process Engineer you will be supporting the control, compliance, and improvement of special processes across the business. Typical tasks will include creating data sheets, reviewing specifications, reviewing certificate of conformity's (CoCs) from suppliers, test report reviews and supporting AS9100 audits.

Hours of Work - 37½ hrs per week. Core hours 9am until 4pm Mon to Thurs, 9am until 2pm Fri – Flex start & finish times, early finish on a Friday.

Essential Requirements of the Process Engineer – Chemical Process

  • A chemical process background and 2+ years industry experience outside of academia/research.
  • Experience in an aerospace sector within AS9100 environment.
  • Knowledge of NADCAP requirements with experience in supporting audits.

Desirable Requirements of the Process Engineer – Chemical Process

  • Chemical engineering degree.
  • Chemical processing lines experience.
