April Quest are working with a global manufacturer of safety-critical instrumentation used in regulated, real-world environments where reliability and accuracy are crucial. The Embedded Software Engineer will play a key part in the architecture and development of real-time embedded software, working closely with Hardware and Systems teams to deliver robust, compliant next-generation products.

What you'll do as the Embedded Software Engineer:

  • Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++
  • Build real-time firmware in an RTOS environment
  • Integrate sensors and comms interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Write and debug low-level drivers
  • Support board bring-up and troubleshooting with hardware and systems teams
