An established engineering manufacturer is looking for a Supply Chain Lead to manage purchasing, maintain material availability and improve the flow of components through to production. Working directly with the Site Operations Manager, you'll oversee supplier relationships, inventory and a warehouse team of two to three people. This Supply Chain Lead opportunity would suit an experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer ready to broaden their responsibilities and move into team leadership. What you'll be doing as a Supply Chain Lead: Managing purchasing and supplier order books, monitoring delivery, quality and cost performance. Expediting critical components and resolving shortages to keep production supplied. Maintaining appropriate stock levels, coordinating cycle counts and investigating stock discrepancies.
