The company partners closely with clients to solve complex operational challenges where precision, reliability, and durability are critical. Standalone customer facing role with a focus on commercial negotiations as opposed to a focus on financial / data analysis. The suitable candidate will be comfortable visiting customers, negotiating long terms agreements with customers and suppliers.
- 1/3 reviewing contracts & scenarios for different customer margins and scenarios
- 1/3 is price agreements.
- 1/3 is working with multi-national customers on fixed contracts (2,3,4,5 years)
Essential Requirements of the Commercial Manager / Pricing Manager
- Degree qualified or professional qualification or part-qualification in a relevant area
- Experience in contract management and face to face negotiations
- Negotiations include annual price changes, pricing reviews, contractual price changes and tiered pricing.
- Exposure to supplier contract management and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Able to negotiate with suppliers and flow through supply chain.
- An understanding how the big corporations / multinational do buying and negotiations - experience working with large multinational OEM procurement teams
- Comfortable visiting customers, developing relationships and maximising business opportunities.

- A process approach, creating, approving, maintaining processes
- Risk management experience.
