We are working with a global industrial electronics manufacturer looking for a Process Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of manufacturing improvement projects, support new product introduction activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production. You'll work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Quality teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste and support manufacturing growth. The business manufactures thousands of products every day and continues to invest heavily in both people and production capability. This role offers excellent long-term development opportunities within a business known for promoting from within.
There is no visa sponsorship available for this role, and a UK driving license is required.
Responsibilities:
- Improve manufacturing processes and help increase efficiency across production
- Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects
- Investigate production and quality issues and implement solutions
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to improve performance
- Support equipment upgrades, process changes and manufacturing projects
- Help reduce waste, improve output and maintain high quality standards
Essential Requirements:
- Experience within a Manufacturing, Production or Process Engineering role
- Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience improving processes within a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working with different teams across the business
Desirable Requirements:
- New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- High-volume manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar CI training
- Experience supporting manufacturing projects or equipment upgrades
- Electronics, industrial manufacturing or regulated manufacturing experience
