A fast-paced, well-established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join their team in Didcot to support production, troubleshoot issues on the line and help keep manufacturing running efficiently day-to-day. Looking for somebody with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved. The role would suit somebody from a manufacturing, assembly, production or electromechanical background who enjoys practical problem solving and working closely with people on the shop floor.

As a Production Technician, you will:

  • Supporting day-to-day production activities
  • Investigating and resolving manufacturing issues
  • Assembly, wiring and testing work
  • Working from drawings and work instructions
  • Supporting quality and process improvements
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams

Skills required from the Production Technician:

  • Manufacturing or production environment experience
  • Assembly or electromechanical work experience
  • Soldering, wiring or crimping skills
  • Testing, rework or troubleshooting skills
  • Working from technical drawings/instructions
