A growing manufacturing business in Oxfordshire is looking for a hands-on Lead Production Engineer to take ownership of manufacturing engineering activities, support production performance and help drive continuous improvement across the shop floor. As a Lead Production Engineer, you will:
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities across production
- Support day-to-day production issues, quality concerns and equipment challenges
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor
- Improve manufacturing processes, documentation and work instructions
- Support NPI and engineering development builds
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Design teams
- Analyse production data to improve efficiency, consistency and output
- Support tooling, fixtures, test equipment and manufacturing processes
- Coach and support team members
