Working in a small specialist team of Electronic Hardware Engineers, your focus will be on value engineering, understanding the customer requirements and working closely with procurement to re-engineer/reverse engineer products to be more cost-effective but still meet customer requirements.
Essential Requirements of the Senior Electronics Engineer:- Value engineering experience - previous experience making existing products more cost-effective.
- DFM experience.
- Understands the commercial objectives needed for the senior role focused on value engineering.
- Good electronics design experience - Digital & analogue design experience.
- Previous Aerospace or highly regulated industry electronics design experience.
