Apricus Resourcing is working with a care home provider looking for Registered General Nurses (RGN) to cover staffing needs across multiple nursing homes in Warrington, Southport, Wigan and Liverpool. The homes belong to a group with 40 years of experience, providing residential, nursing, dementia and specialist healthcare across the North West.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions to meet residents’ physical, emotional and social needs.
- Safely administer, record and monitor medications in line with NMC guidelines and the home’s medication policies.
- Undertake clinical observations and monitor residents’ conditions, escalating concerns promptly to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Complete comprehensive nursing documentation accurately and maintain confidential resident records.
- Manage wound care, pressure area care, catheter care and other clinical procedures as required.
In order to be considered you must hold a current clear NMC pin and have relevant care‑home experience. Other compliance requirements can be discussed with our onboarding team.
Shifts are available on both days and nights with pay between £25–£27 depending on shift type. Working hours are 7am–7pm, 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am.
