Apricus Resourcing are working with a local council authority in relation to an ongoing locum role for a Health Visitor covering Swindon. The service have numerous years experience of supporting and delivering high quality nursing care for services throughout the UK. Due to their success they are now looking to expand their Health Visiting Team.
Within your role as a health visitor you will work in partnership with statutory and voluntary organisations in the delivery of quality, integrated services to preschool children, their parents and carers. You will be expected to provide proactive and responsive services, delivered flexibly across a range of settings to meet service user needs. There will be times when you will be required to provide leadership within the team, acting as a positive role model for junior staff by demonstrating excellent standards of practice. The successful applicant will be an experienced, compassionate individual who will be able to offer first-class nursing care in an industry leading working environment. This role is working full time with standard hours 9am-5pm. The role is based for the next 4-months with a view to extend or potentially go permanent.
Requirements:
- Strong, up to date clinical skills
- At least 12 months experience working as a Health Visitor
- SCPHN qualification
- Car driver
