Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Senior or Junior Housing Maintenance Surveyor for a leading Social Supported Housing Service for a minimum of 3 months but ideally for longer, based in DH1 Post Code Area of Durham City Centre, who is really passionate about providing a personal managing service. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
For the Senior Role: You’ll provide predictable, reliable and consistent outcomes to customers, colleagues and stakeholders in the delivery of your work and through effective management of your team of Maintenance Surveyors. Supporting the management of contractors within your area of operation, you are responsible for contractor performance to our agreed standards and resolving issues or disputes arising from contractual works. You’ll provide technical expertise and drive quality through surveying that enables us to meet our standards for repairs and deliver on our customer promise.
For the Junior Role: goals and successes for all Surveyors will include:
- A proactive and commercially focused service is provided to customers, achieving our customer satisfaction levels, service standards, KPIs and most importantly delivering on our Customer Promise.
- Keeping the customer experience at the forefront of our minds at all times, acting quickly when things go wrong, taking ownership and accountability to put things right through collaborative working, clear communication and keeping accurate records.
- Standing by the work we deliver, with the knowledge that we’re prioritising the right tasks, at the right time, for the right reasons – working to our Operational plan.
- Forging strong and positive relationships with contractors and colleagues across the business, enhancing our reputation for delivering a service that strives to get things ‘right first time’ and understanding how the part we play fits into the wider organisational goals.
In return for your commitment, the hirer is able to offer a very competitive day rate of pay of between £200 per day for the Senior Role and £157.50 per day for the Junior Role. However, if you have worked in such a post at a higher rate previously you are advised to still apply and disclose that rate as the hirer is open to meeting for the right candidate.
