Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Prison Substance Misuse Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Drug & Alcohol Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Recovery Service based in Lincoln. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
The post holder will support a caseload of Clients of all ages; undertaking assessments, developing person centred recovery plans & running evidence-based substance misuse interventions in groups & on a 1:2:1 basis. You will deliver interventions both onsite face to face & via telephone / video technology where appropriate. You will also spend time supporting the Probation / Prison Teams working alongside Education Providers, Supported Housing Organisations and Social Services, going the extra mile to help achieve sustainable positive behaviour changes.
The position available is based on a 4-month rolling contract with a view to extend. In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive ltd rate of pay £20.03 per hour via umbrella.
Person Criteria:
- You will need current prison vetting in place
- Experience of Working within the criminal justice system
- At least 6 months + experience as a recovery worker
