Apricus Resourcing is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Drug & Alcohol Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Recovery Service based in the DN31 postcode area of Grimsby in Lincolnshire, which can also be based in Cleethorpes if more convenient. This is a full‑time role with standard hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Support a caseload of clients of all ages, undertaking assessments and developing person‑centred recovery plans.
- Run evidence‑based substance misuse interventions in groups and on a 1:2:1 basis, delivered both face‑to‑face onsite and via telephone or video technology where appropriate.
- Spend time supporting Probation/Prison teams and working alongside Education Providers, Supported Housing Organisations and Social Services to help achieve sustainable positive behaviour changes.
