Apricus Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Educational Psychologist to support a local authority in North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work fully remotely, completing statutory assessments while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.
The Role
You will be responsible for completing high-quality statutory Educational Psychology assessments in line with SEND legislation and local authority requirements. The role offers flexibility with all work being carried out remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments.
- Produce high-quality psychological advice and reports within agreed timescales.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, SEN teams and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and professional standards.
- Manage your own caseload effectively while meeting deadlines.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Educational Psychologist.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience completing statutory Educational Psychology assessments.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
