Overview
Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Drug & Alcohol Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Recovery Service based in the RG14 Post Code Area of Newbury in Berkshire bordering Wiltshire and Oxfordshire, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service. This role is full time with standard hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- The post holder will support a caseload of clients of all ages; undertaking assessments, developing person-centred recovery plans & running evidence-based substance misuse interventions in groups & on a 1:2:1 basis.
- You will deliver interventions both onsite face to face & via telephone / video technology where appropriate.
- You will also spend time supporting the Probation / Prison Teams, working alongside Education Providers, Supported Housing Organisations and Social Services, going the extra mile to help achieve sustainable positive behaviour changes.
Contract and Salary
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
Salary: between £19.97-£21.12 per hour dependent on experience, determined by interview.
