Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Full Time Permanent Onsite Night Housing Responder Support Worker for a leading Spiritual Life Recovery Service to work full time in DL Post Code Areas of County Durham covering disbursed properties with localities in DL14 Bishop Auckland, DL13 Tow Law and DL16 Spennymoor. (Full time 42 hours per week - Twilight Shift Pattern on a 4 on 4 off rotation, usually 8pm-8am, overtime will be possible).
The Housing Responder is a blended frontline role, combining proactive housing management with responsive support and concierge duties. The role ensures the safety, security, and wellbeing of companions within Homeless Rough Sleeper Accommodation Provision services, offering practical assistance, crisis intervention, and a welcoming, professional presence during night and weekend shifts.
This position requires strong communication and administrative skills, the ability to build trusting relationships with companions, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism within the North East ethos. We are a specialised service aimed at supporting those experiencing homelessness within the County Durham area. It focuses on providing tailored interventions that help people access safe accommodation, address underlying issues contributing to rough sleeping and homelessness, and build pathways to independence, making a real impact on lives in the County.
