Scarborough Health Network is a leading community teaching health network, consisting of three hospitals and eight satellite sites in Scarborough, one of the most diverse communities in Canada. Our Foundation works with donors, volunteers, and community members to raise funds for infrastructure and medical technology to support our mission of improving lives through exceptional care.
We are currently raising the profile of our hospitals through the Love, Scarborough campaign, which has increased awareness, inspired gifts, and highlighted healthcare gaps. This is an exciting time to join as we continue to grow!
Are you experienced in managing technology systems supporting fundraising and data? Do you excel at generating insights through data integration and reporting? If so, you might be the leader we need to develop and maintain our data assets and support data governance.
The role reports to the AVP, Campaign Operations, and involves executing our Data and Technology strategies, supporting growth through data management and technology, and leading a team of power users and data champions.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
Your responsibilities include:
Systems Management (20%)
- Manage and support CRM and other software systems.
- Lead large technology projects to upgrade our systems.
- Ensure system utilization, data quality, and train users.
- Coordinate with IT on cross-cutting initiatives and maintain software licenses and hardware inventory.
Data Leadership (25%)
- Understand business needs and optimize data architecture.
- Lead the Data Governance Committee to ensure high data quality standards.
- Develop and enforce data quality and maintenance procedures.
- Support data accuracy for fundraising and donor activities.
Reporting (35%)
- Assess reporting needs and implement solutions using Power BI and other tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate reports for various teams.
- Manage data warehouse operations and develop data standards.
Business Solutions (10%)
- Design workflows, resolve technical issues, and improve data processes.
- Develop training and documentation for data quality and processes.
Relationship Management (10%)
- Build relationships with staff, vendors, and IT teams.
- Mentor and support team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum five years of data/technology experience, preferably in non-profit.
- Experience with CRM systems, Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing.
- Post-secondary education in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles is an asset.
