In this role, you will need to understand prospect business challenges and identify alignment in how AppZen's AI solutions can be of benefit. You will be responsible for booking meetings, which will be jointly held with Account Executives to dive deeper into AppZen, enabling further qualification to build pipeline. We are looking for someone hungry to succeed, with a strong work ethic, resilience and boundless energy. You'll be highly coachable and able to apply learnings from daily coaching in your role, developing new skills and improving every day as a sales professional.

This role will involve cold calling, mass and personalised emails, voice notes, videos, and LinkedIn outreach. Frequent rejection is inevitable, and we need someone who never lets a no affect them negatively, and will always dust themselves off and keep going. You'll be someone who sees everything as a learning opportunity. Naturally, you'll be a highly motivated self-starter, a brilliant communicator, and highly organised in the role.

Responsibilities
  • Book meetings, to be jointly held with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Engage in outbound prospecting including cold calling, personalised emails, voice notes, videos, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Understand prospect business challenges and identify alignment with AppZen's AI solutions.
  • Apply learnings from daily coaching to improve sales skills and performance.
Qualifications / Skills
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in sales (SaaS, recruitment, client facing) or related field.
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding goals.
  • Proficiency with cold calling, LinkedIn, personalised emails, and other sales development techniques.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, time-sensitive, fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook to rejection.
  • Passionate about AI, technology, finance, and driving results.
  • Preferable: Coachable, highly motivated and competitive self-starter.
What Success Looks Like
  • Month 1: 4-week structured onboarding; start reaching out to prospects by the end of the month.
  • Month 2: On a half quota (2 demo meetings), apply training to break into accounts.
  • Month 3: On a full quota (4 demo meetings), process is established and ongoing.
