About The Role
This senior, clientâfacing engagement leadership role is responsible for driving account success, delivery quality and commercial growth across Appviaâs highâprofile cloud transformation engagements. You will own the relationship with one or more strategic accounts, manage projects from migration to platform engineering and AI enablement, and ensure Appvia becomes a trusted, longâterm strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship & Strategic Account Ownership
- Act as the senior lead contact for the client account and nurture executiveâlevel relationships.
- Understand the clientâs business drivers, pain points and position Appviaâs value accordingly.
- Develop account growth plans, coordinate with sales/preâsales and support contract negotiations.
- Monitor account health through satisfaction metrics, retention and platform usage.
- Engagement & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring governance, resourcing, milestone adherence and risk management.
- Provide technical oversight to guarantee architectural integrity and alignment with cloud best practices.
- Work with internal teams to ensure capacity and capability for the account.
- Run customer workshops and educational sessions on platform engineering, AI and data platforms.
- Serve as an escalation point for major delivery issues.
- Growth & Value Realisation
- Translate technical delivery into business outcomes and track value delivered.
- Develop and present valueâcase updates and roadmap presentations to client leadership.
- Identify new product/service offerings that match the clientâs nextâphase needs.
- Lead internal lessonsâlearned and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Internal Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate crossâfunctionally with sales, product, consulting, finance and marketing to drive account growth.
- Mentor junior engagement/delivery leads within the account or across accounts.
- Contribute to thought leadership through client workshops, events and case studies.
Requirements
We are looking for a senior consultancy leader with a strong technical grounding and proven experience growing strategic technology accounts. Proactive, âgetâthingsâdoneâ mindset with ownership of client outcomes. Strategic thinker with execution focus, able to map business strategy to technical roadmap. Customerâcentric orientation with ability to build longâterm partnerships. Technical curiosity and continuous learner, staying ahead of cloud trends. Essential Experience
- 8+ years of experience in cloud consulting, technical delivery leadership or account ownership.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, platform engineering, DevOps, governance, cost optimisation and developer enablement.
- Proven success managing large/complex enterprise accounts in a consultancy environment.
- Experience leading multiâstream technical engagements with delivery quality, forecasting and commercial growth.
- Confidence communicating with leadershipâlevel stakeholders and influencing decisions.
- Skilled in building and executing account growth plans.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience producing client case studies, testimonials and valueârealisation reports.
- Experience in regulatory, public sector, finance or highly complex environments.
Qualifications
- Expertâlevel cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) such as AZâ305, SCâ100, AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Advanced Networking â Specialty.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKSS).
