Role Responsibilities
- Support Role: Provide expert application support, offering advice and guidance on technical activities.
- Manage and resolve tickets, ensuring timely solutions for payroll-related issues.
- Maintain thorough documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled.
- Regularly report on ticket status and progress to the AMS Cluster Lead.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Develop a deep understanding of SAP HR architecture and business flows.
Main Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Configure SAP HR modules, particularly Payroll (evaluation & schemas), to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- Lead the development, defect identification, and resolution in SAP Payroll Management.
- Analyze payroll and time schemas to troubleshoot discrepancies (e.g., overtime, taxes, allowances, etc.).
- Resolve complex issues related to UK-specific payroll configurations, including social security, legal reporting, and payslips.
- Ensure accurate time and attendance data, maintaining system integrity.
- Provide hands-on expertise in UK Payroll (schemas, PCRs, wage types, basic pay configuration).
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP HR projects and ensure the successful transition to maintenance teams.
Consulting Role: Solution Design
- Facilitate workshops, ensuring key decisions are captured and recorded.
- Support the ECP Lead Consultant by configuring solutions based on agreed designs.
- Balance technical, functional, and business requirements to ensure compatibility across solution components.
- Support project teams to resolve challenges, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery.
Data Migration
- Lead data mapping efforts with clients and implementation teams (internal or third-party).
- Ensure proper data cleansing and transformation practices are followed.
- Maintain data security standards in line with client requirements.
What We\\\βre Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with UK Payroll, including schemas, PCRs, wage types, and basic pay configuration.
- Strong understanding of SAP Payroll, HCM, and SuccessFactors architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in project delivery, ensuring solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data migration, security procedures, and integration requirements.
