Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Ariba Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a multi-country, multi-currency procurement solution as part of a global S/4HANA transformation program. This role will architect and deliver scalable procurement processes across Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), ensuring compliance with country-specific regulatory and operational nuances, and seamless integration with S/4HANA, Azure Fabric, and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Design
    • Lead the end-to-end architecture of SAP Ariba across sourcing, contracts, procurement, and supplier management.
    • Design solutions that support multi-country operations, multi-currency transactions, and localized procurement requirements.
    • Ensure integration with S/4HANA, including master data, purchase requisitions, orders, invoices, and supplier lifecycle.
  • Hands-On Delivery
    • Work directly with business users and procurement teams across regions to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure Ariba modules.
    • Support the design and delivery of procurement analytics, ensuring visibility into spend, compliance, and supplier performance.
    • Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure Ariba data is available in SAP Datasphere and SAC for reporting.
  • Integration & Interoperability
    • Define and implement integration patterns between Ariba, S/4HANA, and Azure Fabric, ensuring real-time data flow and process automation.
    • Coordinate with upstream and downstream systems to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Program Execution
    • Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery tracking in a time- and budget-constrained environment.
    • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to procurement architecture and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in SAP Ariba (S2C and P2P).
  • Deep understanding of S/4HANA Procurement and integration touchpoints.
  • Hands-on experience with Ariba configuration, workflow design, and integration via CIG or middleware.
  • Strong knowledge of global procurement processes, multi-currency handling, and local compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with Azure Fabric, data lakes, or cloud-native integration platforms.
  • Ability to engage with regional business users, gather requirements, and deliver localized solutions.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as SAC, Datasphere, or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in agile delivery environments with tight timelines and budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified in Ariba (Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, or Integration).
  • Experience with Ariba Network, Supplier Risk, or Contract Lifecycle Management.
  • Exposure to SuccessFactors, Concur, or other SAP cloud modules.
  • Prior experience in multi-country SAP transformation programs.
