A leading manufacturer of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Power Distribution Units, supplying projects across commercial, healthcare, data centre and industrial sectors, is looking to recruit several Semi Skilled Electrical Fitters to join their busy production and installation teams, working primarily within a modern manufacturing environment with occasional site-based installation work.
We are looking to recruit a Semi-Skilled Electrical Fitter to join our Production team. Ideally, with a foundation in electrical work, we require people who are looking to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to progress to full Electrical Fitter status. You will learn to be part of a team tasked with:
- Assembling, wiring, testing and installing a wide range of electrical products
- Building Power Distribution Units and LV Switchgear from schematic and wiring diagrams
- Supporting installation teams on site when required
- Working closely with Team Leaders, Production Managers and Engineering staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to company standards
- Maintaining high levels of quality, housekeeping and health & safety compliance
You Will Have:
- Level 2 Electrical qualification or equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and assembly
- Previous experience in an electrical manufacturing environment will be useful
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
