Our client is a leading manufacturer of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Power Distribution Units, supplying projects across commercial, healthcare, data centre and industrial sectors. Based in Nottinghamshire, they are now looking to recruit several Electrical Fitters to join their busy production and installation teams, working primarily within a modern manufacturing environment with occasional site-based installation work.
You will be responsible for:
- Assembling, wiring, testing and installing a wide range of electrical products
- Building Power Distribution Units and LV Switchgear from schematic and wiring diagrams
- Supporting installation teams on site when required
- Working closely with Team Leaders, Production Managers and Engineering staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to company standards
- Maintaining high levels of quality, housekeeping and health & safety compliance
You Will Have:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification and relevant NVQ
- Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or able to demonstrate equivalent time-served experience as Electrical Fitter or Panel Wireman in a similar environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Panel Wireman or similar within a manufacturing or switchgear environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- A proactive, team-focused approach
