We are working with a well-established specialist M&E subcontractor delivering a range of projects across the retail and warehousing sectors. Projects include both new build and refurbishment schemes, with values ranging from £250k to £5 million. Due to continued workload, they are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Estimator to support the pre-construction and commercial teams on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates across all project stages
- Producing feasibility and concept budgets
- Managing pre-construction estimating activities
- Pricing variations and supporting commercial negotiations
- Assisting with final accounts as required
- Working collaboratively with design, commercial, and delivery teams
Experience & Technical Knowledge Required
- Proven Experience In:
- Building services / M&E contracting environment
- Pre-construction estimating
- Feasibility and concept budgeting
- Variation pricing
- Final account support
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or NVQ equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in an M&E estimating role
