Approved Care and Support are a private care provider based in Oswestry and Shrewsbury. We are built on many years’ experience and are passionate about providing a quality service in and around the Oswestry and Shropshire area. We currently have positions available for male and female care workers and are looking for people to join our lovely team.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Care worker or similar role desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
- A positive welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business; there are full-time and part-time, evening, and weekend positions available.
- A genuine caring nature, empathy and a positive attitude is required for this position.
Responsibilities for Care Worker:
- Dressing and undressing
- Washing / bathing / showering / shaving / cleaning teeth
- Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene
- Administration of Medication
- Getting in and out of bed
- Food preparation
- General cleaning duties
- Shopping
- Social visits / Companionship
