We are currently looking to recruit a working site supevisor for a temporary assignment in Milton Keynes starting on the 30th January 2017 for a minimum of 24 weeks. The ideal candidate must be experienced with a proven track record of working for main contractors on projects in the construction sector. A willingness and hands on approach to site activities such as labouring is essential. Our client is involved with a number of construction projects which can be either new build or refurbishment and the successful candidate will be assisting the site manager and be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out to the highest of standards. Our client is a leading contractor with projects ranging to £20 million, across a number of sectors including Retail, Education, Healthcare, Distribution, Industrial and Commercial schemes. Excellent communication skills will be key as you will be liaising across all levels with junior / senior staff, commercial managers, directors, sub
contractors and end-users. Projects will be on either a design and build / traditional basis for both new build and refurbishment. You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have experience at a similar level, or be looking to take the next step on the career ladder. The work will involve assisting in the general site management, the management of trade sub-contractors specifically supervising the sub-contractors, delivering a consistent high quality finish and reporting to the Site Manager. Ideally you will hold a CSCS card, SSSTS and a first aid certificate (all essential). Our client is based in the East Midlands and operates throughout the United Kingdom.
