Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with a background working on new build construction projects? Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a specialist design and build contractor, who are currently on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis out of their head office in Lincolnshire.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage budgets, contracts, and cost control while ensuring the successful financial outcome of projects.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the industrial or commercial construction sectors.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to assist with the preparation of detailed quotations and proposals.
  • Manage cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned projects.
  • Prepare accurate valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee contract administration, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke contracts.
  • Manage and agree applications for payment and variations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular financial and commercial reports to senior management.
