Multi Trade Operative Location: Worcestershire Project: Maintenance Works – Category A Prison Start Date: Available Soon Employment: Contract / Temporary Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a maintenance project at a Category A prison in Worcestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance and construction works across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operative with a strong construction background who is comfortable working across multiple trades. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out general building and maintenance works * Carpentry and joinery repairs * Minor building and remedial works * Painting and decorating * Repairs and general upkeep across the site * Working from instructions, drawings and maintenance schedules where required * Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health and safety * Working professionally and respectfully within a secure environment * Supporting other trades and maintenance teams as required Requirements * Previous experience working within the construction or building maintenance sector * Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative, Maintenance Operative, Carpenter, Builder or similar * Competent across multiple trades, ideally including carpentry, building and painting/decorating * Good understanding of health and safety requirements * Reliable, professional and able to work independently * Previous experience working on commercial, public-sector or secure-site projects would be advantageous * Enhanced DBS clearance required * CTC clearance required or the ability to obtain the necessary clearance * Candidates must be able to provide relevant work history and identification required for security clearance The Role This is a secure-site maintenance project offering ongoing work for the right candidate.
